Our location is within minutes of downtown Asheville, North Carolina, which is an incredible vacation destination within itself. Asheville has just been designated one of the top twelve destinations in the world for vacations.

Epona Ridge is close to the end of a winding private road and halfway up a majestic mountain in north Asheville, with west-facing , long-range mountain views above pasture, surrounded by woods, a stream, and the peaceful sounds of nature. Here you will find an enchanting environment to help you access the sanctuary of your heart with the help of the horses.

Due to the geographic surroundings of this private cove, you feel as if you are in your very own sacred hideaway. The center has many outside rooms, and comfortable inside space as well to accommodate the various workshop experiences in any weather conditions.

The Picadero

You will find a unique and beautiful property with a European indoor arena called a Picadero, perfect for an enchanted experience with horses. The source of this Picadero or ‘temple of the horse’ lies far back in history predating the time of the Templar Knights when man communed with their horse in a meditative connection.

Designed with ancient sacred geometry, the circle in the square grounds the earth energy in the spiritual and creates the perfect space for opening one's heart to the mystery of the dance of life.

With the Noble characteristics of the Andalusian horses and some "Magical" minature horses, combined with the surrounding nature that exists here on Epona Ridge ... you will find yourself in your own natural rhythm for living.

Thank you, I wasn't sure before I started working with the horses that they could possibly react to me in ways that were significant only to me..........Much to my amazement they did over and over give me exactly what I needed...........It could be the same horse with different participants and each participant was given exactly what they needed, different behavior for each of us........
