Epona
Epona, the ancient Celtic Goddess known as the protectress of horses, their riders, caretakers and stables. Historically, there were altars to Epona in most barns across Europe as horses were greatly appreciated for all that they did helping with farming, providing a means of transportation, serving in war as they carried their riders into battle to help protect their land and families, and became dear friends and family members to those that loved them. Epona became known as a symbol of the Divine Inner Feminine, healing transformation, balance and strength.
